PREVIEW: What does it mean to be an American in the current idealogically and politically divisive climate?

Over next few months on The Storyline podcast we'll explore the theme of American identity in the current politically and ideologically divisive climate in the country. 

We’ll look at how our local communities have responded to the events of Charlottesville, and how that has affected their ideas of what it means to be American.

We want to know how have the presidential election of 2016, the events of last week and the months leading up to it affected our ideas of what it means to be American.

The series kicks of on this podcast when we talk to a Mystic reverend who rewrote his Sunday sermon after seeing what happened in Charlottesville, we attend a candlight vigil in Niantic and we talk to a group of Trump supporters who rally every week in Pawcatuck.
